Our staff

We employ nearly 40 staff. Just over a quarter who work on our housing schemes are caretakers, cleaners, gardeners or sheltered scheme managers. The remaining staff are based in our main office in Farnborough Kent.

Staff in the Farnborough office are organised into four teams:

Housing Services, Property Services, Customer Services and Finance.

Executive Team

Chief Executive – Jonathan Card

Jonathan has been Keniston’s Chief Executive since 2016. With a career in social housing exceeding 40 years and a background in delivering landlord services, he has extensive experience in a variety of roles in small and large organisations, as well as consultancy and non-executive directorships. As CEO he leads Keniston’s staff team, works closely with the Board to drive the organisation’s strategic direction, and represents the organisation externally.

Finances & Resources Director – Ruby Judt

Operations Director– Sue McDonnell

Sue joined Keniston as their Operations Director in 2020. Sue has more than 35 years’ experience in the housing sector, in operational and strategic roles in both large and smaller housing associations. With a career covering all aspects of housing management, including tenancy sustainment, customer engagement, and income. Sue heads up the housing management, income, customer services and on-site staff teams.  Sue has specific responsibility for achieving compliance with the Tenancy, Neighbourhood & Community and Transparency, Inclusion & Accountability consumer regulatory standards.  Sue is also the lead person accountable for our complaint handling.

Property Services Director – Tony Coward

Tony has worked for Keniston since 2005, heading up all aspects of Keniston’s repair and investment programmes, including reactive, planned and component renewal works, and delivery of new homes. A member of the organisation’s Executive Management Team, he also has responsibility for all aspects of health and safety compliance across Keniston. He is specifically responsible for achieving compliance with the Safety and Quality consumer regulatory standard.
