VE day activity packs

Posted on the 5th May 2020

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of VE Day in lockdown, there are some activity packs that you and your children can do at home, as well as taking part in a street party from your front door or garden.

The anniversary of Victory in Europe Day on 8th May was set to be a significant occasion with the May bank holiday moved and large scale events planned to commemorate the landmark.

We’re supporting the Royal British Legion, National Memorial Arboretum and Citizen to help people mark the anniversary from their home by sharing the VE Day activity packs.

The activity packs include puzzles, recipes, extracts from Churchill speeches, lyrics to war songs and much more.

You can find out more about the packs and VE day from the National Memorial Arboretum website here.
