KENISTON UPDATE – Coronavirus
With Covid-19 continuing to impact people we hope by following new government advice we can limit risk to our residents and staff. In order to avoid social contact and non-essential travel our teams are moving towards remote working.
We aim to maintain essential service levels and operations as far as possible although services will be restricted for the time being. We will continue to carry out emergency and urgent repairs but will need to suspend some non-urgent and planned work.
We are reducing staff levels at the office to a minimal level to keep people healthy and would ask you to bear with us during this difficult time.
WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING FACE TO FACE CALLERS TO OUR OFFICE.
We have also issued advice to our contractors. Please cooperate with the measures that have been put in place:
They are to call ahead of their visit and confirm if you are currently self-Isolating. If you are, then a decision will be made as to the urgency of the fault and whether the work can go ahead.
If you are not self-Isolating, they will ask if you are able to leave the key in a safe place or leave the door on the latch for them to avoid direct contact during the visit.
They will ask you to move to a separate room where they will not be working to enable them to work in isolation.
On arrival and before entering the property they will put gloves on and any other protective clothing.
They will verbally advise you when work is completed and they are to leave the property.
Thank you for your understanding.
