Universal Credit Update

Posted on the 27th July 2016

Universal Credit, this is now live in the Croydon borough for all changes to benefits.

In most boroughs, this is affecting new claimants for Job Seekers Allowance.  However, in Croydon, as soon as you have a change to any of your benefits, this will mean you will switch to Universal Credit.  Your rent will no longer be paid direct to Keniston but you will be responsible for paying full rent.

If you are worried about this, please contact your Income Officer, Chris Little.
