Right to Buy

Posted on the 23rd January 2017

The National Housing Federation will be working with the Government to develop a regional ‘Right to Buy’ pilot that works for Housing Associations and their tenants.  The Government will fund a large scale regional pilot of the ‘Right to Buy’ where over 3000 tenants will be able to buy their own home with ‘Right to Buy’ discounts under the pilots.   The region where ‘Right to Buy’ will be piloted has not yet been announced.

At the moment we still do not know a start date for the national scheme but we will continue to update you as and when further information is announced.

This is the latest information following the Autumn statement made by the Government in October 2016.
