Chief Executive update 12.01.21

Posted on the 12th January 2021

Keniston is working to maintain services as close to normal as possible. But with Covid infection rates currently very high and the NHS at crisis point, we need to do everything we can to minimise infection risks and pressures on the health service. As from today we are therefore restricting our repairs service to emergency and urgent work only. This is to minimise risks to residents and contractors. Please continue to notify repairs to us, and we will tell you whether the work can go ahead.

We hope that this will need to be for a short period only, but we cannot put a timescale on it as yet. We will publish an update as soon as possible.

Please also be aware that there are scams circulating regarding the Covid 19 vaccination programme. If you are eligible for a vaccine, the NHS will write to you directly. They will never phone and ask you for bank details and payment.

Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospital has started vaccinating patients. The vaccine is currently being offered to people who are most at risk from the illness and for the over 70’s if you live in South East London. Telephone number: 0207 188 4040. You will need your NHS number to book.

Visit the GOV.UK website for more details about priority groups for COVID-19
