A small estate of 48 properties including 16 four bedroom houses, 7 self contained flats and 19 self contained sheltered flats for older people. All the flats are in small two storey blocks. Sunningdale Court is situated about three quarters of a mile from Crawley Town centre and railway station.
About the sheltered flats
All are self contained unfurnished one bedroom flats with the exception of one self contained studio flat. First floor flats are accessed by stairs. Heating is by gas central heating or electric storage heaters. They are ideal for an older person who wants to remain independent.
The Scheme Manager looks after Sunningdale Court and nearby Perryfield House. Each flat is linked to a warden call alarm system that can be used in an emergency to call for help. There is a communal lounge for residents and a guest room (a small charge applies) so that relatives and friends can stay overnight when they visit you.
The weekly charge for sheltered flats includes rent, service charge and a support charge. If you are in receipt of income support or on a low income you may be entitled to help to pay the rent, service charge and/or support charge.
