continues with 48 properties in the programme at Darrick Wood; also a further 46 heating upgrades also taking place at Darrick Wood.

Nethewode Court

We are planning to install new windows and we will be looking at improving landscaping and security arrangements.

Foxley Hall
At a recent Management Team Walkabout, residents made us very aware of the parking difficulties they are experiencing there. This seems to be aggravated by unauthorised parking by people who don’t live in the flats. We are looking at alternative ways of dealing with this problem and will be discussing these at the next residents’ meeting.

Silver Court
We are refurbishing the bathrooms and repointing brickwork here.

Have you got a view about how we can improve the services at the estate where you live? Please email us your thoughts. Click chrisbryant@kenistonha.co.uk to tell us how we can deliver the services better.

Have you got photos of estate events which you would like to share? Please pass them on to your Housing Officer and we will try to include them on this web site. (Your photo will be returned after we have scanned it.)

Where possible, and when they are not letting empty properties and dealing with queries from residents, our Housing Officers try to help residents enjoy themselves. Our Housing Officers work with interested residents to organise fun days on estates. At Darrick Wood the Community Involvement Worker organises summer activities for children.

Did you know that there is programme of monthly visits for senior staff from Keniston visit all Keniston’s estates in turn? We do let residents know in advance that these are going to take place so that they can join in and raise matters of concern. The 2008 programme of visits is available. Please click here.

Darrick Wood
We were delighted that in December a small choir from Darrick Wood Junior School sung Christmas music to residents in the sheltered flats for older people at our estate in Farnborough. Click here to see them in action!
