Committee

Members of the Management Committee give their time voluntarily. Most have day jobs as well. They have the responsibility of ensuring that the Association is properly governed and managed, and is financially viable. The Management Committee delegates operational matters to members of staff; the only exception is the final stage of our complaints process when a sub committee of 3 committee members then reviews that complaint.

Would you like to be a member of our Management Committee?
If you think you would like to consider becoming a member of Keniston�s Management Committee and either have relevant skills or are a resident of a Keniston property, then please contact Nevil Osborne in the first instance. You need to be interested in social housing issues, the strategic and governance matters of a small not for profit organisation, and be prepared to meet about eight times a year on a Thursday evening, starting at 6:00 p.m. There may occasionally be other demands on your time.

At present our Committee is short of women and people from the Black and Minority Ethnic populations, so we would be especially pleased to hear from you if you are within these groups.

Please note there is a selection process for new members and that members of the Management Committee attend on a voluntary basis.
